In Locri, in the heart of Calabria, where the oil culture has ancient origins, in 1888 the family Capogreco start the production activities of oil with the first mill in animal traction. The commitment and dedication of four generations, in an area rich in history, led to the birth of a modern business and, in 2006, the inauguration of a new facility equipped with the latest technology, has made possible a double production line: one conventional and the other organic. The company Capogreco, covers an area of 100 hectares, where among the variety of agricultural production stands out the olive grove with 10,000 plants from which originated the extra virgin olive oil "The Traditional" of excellent quality. The oil from the clear green color with golden yellow and a pleasant aftertaste of dried fruit, served on dishes and haute cuisine that will enrich the table of connoisseurs and those who like having genuine products which earth has thrived.
